The Heart of Design Trends

As an interior designer deeply committed to staying ahead of the curve, I am thrilled about my journey to Milan Design Week 2024 (April 16-21) where I'll be reporting LIVE on Instagram from the epicenter of innovation and creativity. Being informed about new products and trends is essential for any designer, whether you're building, specifying for clients, or just starting out in the world of interiors design & decoration. It's not just about keeping up - it's about understanding what else is possible in design.

Milano Design Week, with Salone del Mobile in Milano, is the pinnacle of design events globally. Created in 1961, the Fair has evolved into the premier showcase for furniture and interior design in the world, attracting designers, architects, and enthusiasts from around the planet. The event not only celebrates Italian design heritage but also serves as a platform for international emerging trends and concepts.

For me, traveling to Milan is always a source of immense excitement and inspiration. It's not just about seeing the latest collections and innovations firsthand, but also about understanding how these trends will shape the design landscape back home, right here in Australia. As an interior designer with a passion for continuous learning, I'm excited about reporting live from the epicenter of innovation and creativity on my Social Media channels. The Salone itself is immense and the city as a whole contributes with added beauty and exhibits (Fuorisalone) but it's as exciting as it is exhausting. But let's face it, who needs sleep when there are design trends to uncover and espresso shots to fuel the journey?

Throughout my journey, it is my intention to bring my followers along, providing daily recaps of the incredible designs and insights I encounter. From the bustling halls of the Salone del Mobile to the cutting-edge exhibits of Eurocucina and Bathroom Exhibition, to the food and Spritz I'll consume to keep my energy up - every wow moment will be captured to share and inspire creativity. During this adventure, I want to be your trusty guide, sharing the juiciest bits of Milan Design Week 2024.
