Have you left it to the last minute? Are you under Christmas pressure? Well, who isn't! No other celebration makes us want to over-eat, over-spend and over-decorate quite like at Christmas, and my first tip is: go for it! I love this Festive Season, and like every year here are a few tips to inspire you.
So, if you're still looking for ideas to help you decorate your Christmas table, here's my first set of tips on how to create a simple but very effective table setting, which is easy to achieve and definitely practical: stick to two colours, purchase what you can reuse and leave room for food.
We've all spent a lot of time indoors this year, so as we gather with family and friends at Christmas, I reckon it's the perfect time to celebrate outdoors! Here are a few simple ideas to help you bring the Christmas spirit outside, and into your own backyard: continue the theme chosen for the table, create a focal point and indulge.
What to buy at Christmas? After such a difficult year it is very important that we support our local businesses, so I've decided to create my own Christmas Hamper with products I sourced near and far, but all Australian... have a look! I encourage you too to Buy Local, Australian Made and Minimise Waste whenever you can.
So, another year has gone, and what a weird one this was, I'll certainly enjoy a short break with my family, but I will also keep working on something new, that I'm very excited about and will share with you in January ... But for now, on behalf of my team and family, I wish you a heartfelt Merry Christmas and a very, very prosperous New Year.
