The amount of design inspiration and information available at Milano's International Furniture Fair (Salone Del Mobile) is so vast that it is impossible to effectively report it at once. In that week I have taken about 5000 images and collected pamphlets, press kits and samples. With 1,841 exhibitors from 33 different countries, it could indeed be overwhelming, but to me it was exciting. As I love to share what I learn, all the information I have gathered is now being sorted, catalogued and prepared to be passed on through presentations, workshops, private consultations and social media. Would you want to know more?
Every second year Salone Del Mobile presents Eurocucina (International Kitchen Exhibition) with hundreds of leading brands, each showcasing the latest achievements in technology, materials and trends. There I'm like a kid at the luna park... I will start by sharing the latest news I gathered from Eurocucina at my Kitchen Design & Styling Workshop next week in Sydney. Click here for more info about this.
Salone Del Mobile also offered a large and dedicated section to bathrooms, presenting more than 200 brands each with innovative products, ideas and looks. Here too I have taken hundreds of images and plenty of information. For more info in Bathroom Design Workshops click here.
Obviously Milano's International Furniture Fair reserves its largest section to furniture brands who presented innovative solutions and trends, or simply amazed us with luxurious products or extravagant looks. Featuring many of these inspiring ideas, I will be presenting Practical Tips For Everyday Australian Luxury at Melbourne's Decor + Design next July. Find more info about this here.
And yes, as usual I have also brought back gifts for my Social Media followers. For your chance to be one of the winners, follow the easy instructions on my Facebook and Instagram pages. The winners will be announced Sunday 13th of May 2018.
Being among the 435K people visiting Salone Del Mobile 2018 and the other 1300 events around the streets of Milano (Fuorisalone) made me once again aware that it doesn't matter how much you think you know about Interiors, there is always more to discover and learn.
Now, let me share it with you.
