After 7 years together, the time has come for me to say farewell to my friends and TV family at The Living Room. I joined this much-loved show in season 1 to entertain with design challenges and share my passion of Interiors and Up-cycling: it’s been an amazing ride. After much thought, however, I decided to focus on my Interior Design work, PLUS realise exciting new opportunities with LIVE television. As many of you already know I’m still on TV, on an exciting LIVE format, exploring my love of all things Homes and Design, this time on a different channel which combines a ton of Property and Real Estate information alongside.
Since I was offered the position of co-host on YOURMONEY – AUCTION DAY, I’ve discovered the addictive excitement of Live Television: 6 hours every Saturday! (YEP!!! 6 HOURS… LIVE, and I LOVE IT!) with live Real Estate Auctions and interviews with Housing Market Experts, Interior Designers, Renovators and more... So, more than a year after accepting this amazing new position, and with a very busy schedule with my busy Interior Design practice, I’ve decided the time has come to say farewell to the audiences of The Living Room, but not without the greatest appreciation on all of the amazing experiences, the fun and the amazing friendships that I’ve enjoyed there.
I want to firstly thank WTFN production and Network TEN for allowing me to be a part of this great show, and also to the amazing team of producers, cameramen, sound, makeup, researchers, runners, etc (as it takes many people to create such a great show). These are the champions who truly make this show's success possible... Of course my heartfelt thanks also go to the four stars of the show, Amanda Keller, Barry Du Bois, Chris Brown and Miguel Maestre, for making room on their sofas and welcoming me as part of their TV family. Also a special shout out to my buddies Dylan Falecki, and Paul Connolly who helped me realise all of my renovation ideas, and to the dynamic duo Kyal & Kara with whom I’ve shared many exciting hours of creative Television.
Finally, my greatest thanks goes to The Living Room audience, who have shown such great appreciation for this show; it’s a humbling experience when total strangers come up to you on the street, at a function I’m working on, or via email or social media, and share their love or to simply say 'hello'. You’ve been amazing! I’m very proud to have been a part of a hard-working team that has created a show that YOU voted Best Lifestyle program at the LOGIES, four years in a row. YOU have made this success possible by watching the show each Friday night and shown great support and special appreciation particularly for our design challenges: THANKYOU!
This may be the end to one adventure for me, however I’m not going far, and I’d LOVE for you to follow me, this time LIVE, every Saturday at 8.30am on YOURMONEY–AUCTION DAY, alongside my brilliant Co-Host Sophie Hull, and the many guest experts (free-to-air Ch95 or Foxtel Ch601).
