As an interior designer it's so important that I stay up to date with the latest fittings and fixtures from my builders and clients and that's what I search for when visiting the Cooks’ Plumbing showrooms. The brand new Liano II Colour Basin Collection by Caroma offer exciting design possibilities with its beautiful colours. There are actually seven colours in the range: black, green, pink, grey, a speckled light finish, white of course all in gloss and the very trendy matte finish. This is such a contemporary range that provides so many options for you when you're creating your bathrooms no matter what your theme might be. Each of the colours come with their own matching waste plug creating a nice cohesive and really streamlined finish but you can match these with your tapware and accessories' range, picking up the metallic finish. It's like when you're putting on your jewellery getting ready to go out on a Saturday night. You can choose from chrome, brush, nickel, matte black, but with my beautiful green basin I absolutely love the brass look.
Shape is also of course an important element in any room and these basins can completely transform the appeal of your bathroom. The beautiful round basin, 400 millimetres in diameter, is perfect for a smaller bathroom, or maybe for a larger vanity where you want to put two basins, like a family bathroom or an ensuite. We've also got the pill-shape which I’ve got to say is my personal favourite. It is also very practical shape because it's so easy to use and it also replicates the shape of a freestanding bath if you have one in the room.
Another unique feature with the Liano II Colour Basin Collection is their 'dress ring', a metallic ring that sits at the base of the basin and allows you to match this colour with the metal of the tap-ware... now you can have the same finish at the base of the basin, in your waste plug, in your tap-ware and in the accessories.
