Milano Trends, The Video

There truly is something for everybody during Milano Design Week.

With more than 1,900 exhibitors at Salone del Mobile and over 316,000 visitors from around the world, plus more than 1,000 events spread across the city, Milan becomes a giant playground of creativity every April. And yes, it can all get a little conceptual at times… arty, theatrical, entertaining, sometimes even completely unrelatable. Big brands showing off, dramatic installations, experimental ideas that may have very little to do with the reality of building or renovating a home.

But hidden amongst all that spectacle is also an incredible amount of practical inspiration, smart materials, evolving kitchen technology, colour trends, finishes, lighting ideas and clever solutions that genuinely influence the homes we live in.

So if you didn’t make it to Milano Design Week 2026 last April, here is my video recap. No fancy design jargon. Just the information I believe is actually relevant for builders, renovators and homeowners.
